LIGHT-WEIGHT, LIGHT-TRANSMITTING BONDED SERIES HONEYCOMB PANELS CAN BE CURVED TO SPECIFICATION
Panelite Bonded Series panels can be thermoformed to custom radii, to create light-transmitting curved walls with many advantages over curved glass:
– Curved Panelite panels are air-cured as opposed to an energy-intensive kiln cure
– Honeycomb panels weigh one-fifth the weight of glass
– Ease of transportation, handling, and installation is much higher with honeycomb
– Panelite panels can be cut on site if needed, glass cannot
– Curved Panelite panels cost a fraction of the cost of glass – from the panel cost itself to the costs of shipping, handling and installation
Our honeycomb panels are thermoformed in the factory to specified radii, mocked up at full scale if required, and delivered to the site pre-curved and pre-cut with optional interlocking ClearConnect joints, to facilitate installation and minimize materials and labor onsite.

At Fondazione San Paolo, a historical building in Turin, Italy, Bonded Series partition walls are used to divide the space while honoring the character of the original architecture. With muted satin facings, double-walled Bonded Series panels provide a luminous partition system throughout the space that highlights rather than conflicts with the original materials and spatial quality of the building. In several of the administrative areas, creating office partitions with custom curved panels allowed the architects to maximize the occupiable space.

Installation in process at Sprint EBC. Design: Rees Masilionis Turley Architecture. Custom Curved B-RCCTS panels with ClearConnect BF-ITL3 interlocking joints and BF-RAD pre-fabricated mitered corners.
At Sprint’s Executive Briefing Center, architects RMTA specified custom-curved Bonded Series panels with random mix tubular honeycomb core and facings that are tranparent on one side and satin on the other (B-RCCTS), to obtain the ideal light diffusion for a dramatic backlit curved wall.
