In 2011 architects  Durbiano Reinerio Architetti were invited to restore the historic Palazzo in Piazza Bernini in Turin, Italy (built in 1889 by Giuseppe Davicini) for the headquarters of the Compagnia di San Paolo.

Bonded Series partition walls were introduced to divide the space while honoring the character of the original architecture. With muted satin facings, double-walled Bonded Series panels provide a luminous partition system throughout the space that highlights rather than conflicts with the original materials and spatial quality of the building. In several of the administrative areas, creating office partitions with custom curved panels allowed the architects to maximize the occupiable space.

Translucent B-ECCS panels provide visual and acoustical privacy while maintaining allowing some visibility and plenty of natural daylighting

This project also highlights the extent to which panels can be customized with high-quality pre-fabrication; in this case panels are used throughout the building in variously programmed spaces  and are cut to multiple complex custom sizes to accommodate the original structure of the building.
