Unlike glass, Panelite Bonded Series panels can be cut to accommodate systems such as HVAC ducts, plumbing pipes, sprinklers, and more. These cuts can be made in the field using standard woodworking tools, or can be pre-cut based on drawings. Cutting in the field is highly recommended for efficiency and reduced risk of error.

Panelite panels amplify daylight and allow directional views at Studio MCArchitects in Bologna, Italy. HVAC ducts are exposed and pass through the Panelite thanks to simple on-site cut-outs. You can’t do that with glass. Arch. Mario Cuccinella. Photo Antonio Lombardini.
