A BALANCE OF PRIVACY AND VIEWS FOR A COLLABORATIVE, CREATIVE WORKPLACE, IN BOLD CMYK COLORS.
For Westfield Corporation’s headquarters in Los Angeles, Woods Bagot Architects designed a series of collaborative work spaces such as breakout and conference rooms.
The directional transparency of Panelite’s honeycomb partitions makes them ideal for creative workplaces, since a balance of privacy and views is achieved naturally. The designers chose three bold colors consistent with the CMYK theme of the design.
Directional transparency through the honeycomb allows views and a sense of connection to the larger office, as well as bringing natural daylight into interior spaces, all important factors in workplace comfort and productivity recognized by the LEED rating system.
The light weight of the panels combined with the efficiency of the ClearConnect system saves significant time and labor in installation. Panelite panels weigh only 1/6th as much as glass partitions, can be carried by a single installer, and can be easily fabricated onsite without specialized equipment or labor.
