WHY THIS STORYCORPS PAVILION HAS HONEYCOMB WALLS
In designing a public pavilion for StoryCorps, MESH Architectures and MASDesign, working with Front Inc. engineers, chose Panelite ClearShade™ glazing to achieve:
- the ideal balance of privacy and dynamic views
- plentiful, diffuse daylighting
- solar heat control
Other design goals included acoustic requirements, a structurally glazed installation detail, applied graphics and the ability to backlight the panels at night.
